A Journey To Self Love

You are enough. Exactly where you are in this very moment. You are deserving of abundant love, bountiful knowledge, and ultimate happiness. You deserve to wake up every morning with a heart overflowing with gratitude. You are worthy of the life you desire, and you should know that no dream is too big.



Now that we have established your worth, it's time to disucss they ways to grow as an individual so that you can be the best version of yourself and live the most fulfilling life.


1. Personal Development Leads to Personal Growth.

Personal development books have played such a critical role on my journey to self love. Here are some life changing books I reccomend you pick up:

- The Power of Now by Eckhard Tolle

- You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero

- The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone

- The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod

- The Energy Bus by Jon Gordon

- The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson


2. Connect With Your Inner Being.

Whatever resonates with you, do that. Whether that be yoga, meditation, mindfullness - set aside time for yourself in the morning or evening to reflect. To be mindful means to be tuned in to your own thoughts, emotions, and personal needs. Create a daily self love ritual that allows you to focus intently on the present moment.


3. Journal Daily.

As cliché as it may sound, journaling is an extremtly important aspect to any self love journey. Get a journal and put it by your bed. Every night write down all of the things that you are thankful for, along with all of the things that you love about yourself. It doesn't have to be a 10 page diary entry - just simply bringing gratitude to your self-love practice will help affirm your desires.


4. Show Your Body Some Love.

Invest in your health: mind, body, and soul. There is no one more worthy of your love than you.

- Exercise because you CAN. Because you have a body that moves and is capable of so much more than you possibly know.

- Fuel your body with real foods that are going to make you look and feel incredible.

- Sleep. Sleep. Sleep. Need I say more???


5. Compassion.

“You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection.”

- Buddha

You are exactly where you need to be in life. Treat yourself with the same kindness, concern, and support you’d show to a good friend or family member. You are doing the very best you can.


And most importantly, be GRATEFUL for exactly where you are in this very moment.

Focus on being grateful to yourself for:

- All of your achievements

- Your work ethic

- Every little success you had today

- Your role in your family/workplace/society

- Making it through the day

The list goes on and on, there is so much in this life to be grateful for.


Your worth is not in your weight, or the amount of money you have, or the kind of clothes you wear. You have SO much to offer this world, it's time you start recognizing all of your acomplishments. You got this girl!!
